RBS design, supply and install a comprehensive range of commercial partitions and partitioning systems to enhance any office, educational or other commercial premises, allowing optimal use to be made of the space available. Office partitions are a durable, stylish and cost-effective way to change the layout of your premises, installed quickly and with minimum disruption to the operation of your business.

Glazed partitions and part-glazed partitions are ideal for conference rooms and offices where the maximum amount of natural light is required. If required, window blinds (with manual or remote operation) can be fitted between the glass partitions for privacy when required. Silicon glazed partitions offer the cleanest lines, offering a frameless appearance.

Stud partition wall is available with various sound deadening options, utilising Rockwool or other acoustic material, with varying thicknesses of partition available. Additional choices include plasterboard (drywall) partitioning, timber (wood) partitioning and steel partitions. Steel partitioning is particularly recommended for free-standing structures (i.e. secure areas in a factory environment) and clean rooms in medical facilities.

Commercial ceilings are available in a wide variety of types to suit your precise requirements, including suspended, plasterboard tiles and grid systems. RBS can advise on the best ceiling type for your needs.

Moveable walls (folding walls) are a convenient, flexible solution to divide space as and when required in your offices. They are also particularly beneficial in educational establishments and leisure venues such as hotels and conference rooms. Also know as operable walls, they offer good sound reduction properties (several levels of acoustic performance are available), with mineral fibre and sound deadening sheets placed between the panels. Fabric partitions are a versatile and economic way to divide areas quickly, ideal for numerous applications in offices, leisure venues and hospitals. The fabric panels are fully washable, and are easy to open and close.

Operable Walls
An operable Wall provides an efficient solution to divide space. The wall is constructed of interlocking individual panels. Each panel is locked into place and the final closure is achieved by means of an expandable end panel operated by a removable handle. This type offers good sound insulation properties and is available in a configuration to suit your requirements.

Multifold Partitions
A Multifold partition is ideal for a medium level of acoustics and when there is a need for the weight to be on the floor when the support structure is not load-bearing. The system consists of hinged panels that are locked into place on every second panel, with the last panel operating as a communicating door. The system can either be a single or Bi-parting.

Fabric Coated Partitions
Four types of Fabric partition are available, all manufactured in the UK, with varying levels of average effective sound reduction. The fabric is strong, durable, light fast, class '1' and '0' to BS 476 flame spread. The material is made from water based inks and is fully washable, mildew and mould resistant.

Wood Finish Partitions
The wood finished partitions are constructed using high quality wood veneers from Scandinavia. They have narrow panels for neat stacking when open and matching pelmets to hide the track. Glazed, unglazed and acoustic versions are available.
